Yes, however certain precautions should be taken with all masks when removing them. The CDC Recommends, "Individuals should be careful not to touch their eyes, nose, and mouth when removing their face covering and wash hands immediately after removing."

Cotton is a versatile fabric that’s inexpensive to produce and is widely accessible. It tends to break down faster than Micro Modal and lose its shape and softness after several wears and washes. As such, it will get less comfortable as time goes on. Additionally, cotton absorbs moisture which results in uncomfortable dampness and retention of body odor.
